Founded in 2018, OWL is a small but passionate nonprofit dedicated to environmental education, conservation, and supporting veterans. Our mission is to foster a connection between individuals, nature, and environmental stewardship. Most recently, our efforts have shifted to emergency relief and rescue efforts in Western North Carolina (WNC) due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. We are committed to helping our community rebuild and protect the environment as part of the long-term recovery process.

Through outdoor hiking adventures, earth science exploration, and creative eco-crafts, your child will embark on a journey of discovery and learning. Our program encourages curiosity, nurtures a love for nature, and fosters environmental stewardship, all while having fun in the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking through scenic trails, participating in wilderness activities, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the natural world, Warrior Ridge provides a unique and restorative experience designed to support the well-being of Veterans and their families.
