A hands-on, nature-based homeschool enrichment program! OWL Academy is a 3-hour drop-off program designed for homeschoolers who thrive in the outdoors. Each session features interactive science and environmental lessons, nature journaling, wildlife identification, and outdoor adventures. Kids will enjoy structured playtime and recess, as well as small-group tutoring led by Hawk Feather educators.

  • NO Registration Fee!
    To register select the day/class from the list on the Ubindi App above. You must submit the student’s name and an email address. There is NO FEE to register. Registration occurs upon the purchase of your first class.

    1 DAY = $55 (3 hours) - must be used within 30 days
    2 DAY PACK = $105 - must be used within 30 days
    4 DAY PACK = $200 - must be used within 45 days

    2 student FAMILY PACK* = $85 for 1 day, $165 for 2 day, $320 for 4 day
    3+ student FAMILY PACK* = $105 for 1 day, $205 for 2 day, $400 for 4 day
    * available upon request. Please contact us at kids@owloutdoors.org to set up payment for FAMILY PACKs. We will send an invoice and class credits depending on family size.

    OWL Kids Club Members are invited to attend ONE FREE OWL Academy day on the first day of each new session. For more sign up for the OWL Kids Club, visit owloutdoors.org/kidsclub.

  • This is an all weather program. Students should be dressed appropriately - rain boots, hats, sunscreen, coats, etc.


    In the event of a severe weather forecast, OWL reserves the right to cancel the class and notify students through the Ubindi app. In this event, students will be credited for the canceled day.


    In the event of unexpected severe weather during class, OWL will seek shelter with the students at the nearest indoor facility. Parents will be called to pick up students if the weather persists and interrupts programming.

  • CANCEL / RESCHEDULE: In the event a student must cancel or reschedule, please do so via the Ubindi App at least 48 hours in advance.

    ILLNESS / EMERGENCY: In the event of illness or emergency causing a last minute cancellation, please call us at 704-530-2332 as soon as possible. It is NOT safe for ill students to participate in our programming, so please keep your sick students home and we will work with you on make-up days, refunds, etc.
